What will taking part involve?
Taking part will involve participating in an interview at a time convenient for you between July and September 2019. The interview will last approximately 90 minutes and will be conducted by a NatCen researcher. The interview can take place in person, in your home or a local venue of your choice. If you prefer, we can conduct the interview by phone.
What will happen next
Once you have received a letter from us you may get a telephone call from us. If you would prefer us to make contact with you via email or text message please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
We only need to speak to a certain number of people, so we may not call everyone we write to. If we do call, we will ask you if you want to participate and ask you a few questions to make sure you are eligible. We will also remind you that you don’t have to take part if you don’t want to.
Support that is available
We understand that you may require support from us to take part in an interview.
- We can take breaks during the interview at any time or break the interview up into shorter appointments
- You can ask someone to attend the interview with you, such as a friend, family member or support worker.
- We arrange for extra support if you have specific needs (such as a British Sign Language interpreter)
Please let us know what support you require when we get in contact to discuss the research or get in touch if you have any concerns.
