Why take part?
Research like this does make a difference
Over the next few years, the Scottish Government will be increasing the number of hours children in Scotland can attend funded ‘early learning and childcare’. This is the care and education children receive before they go to school. It is paid for by your local council and is offered to some two year olds and three and four year olds.
The Government hope that increasing access to funded early learning and childcare will support children’s development and allow more parents to access work, training or study. The results of this survey will help them understand whether or not that happens and how they can improve the way early learning and childcare is delivered across Scotland. By taking part, you can help to make childcare better nationally.
By taking part you will help other families like yours
We know your time is precious, especially with young children around, but your help with this study will really make a difference.
This study will help the Government make the right decisions about the funding of pre-school childcare.
The more parents who share their views, the better the Early Learning and Childcare Services in Scotland will be able to understand how to support children and their parents.
