Stakeholder interviews

What’s involved?

NatCen would like to invite council personnel involved in initiating or implementing LTN schemes in three areas in London and Birmingham to take part in an interview. The purpose of the interviews is to discuss their experiences of delivery of LTNs and thoughts on their impact. The interviews will take place on the phone or via video call and last between 35-45 minutes. The interview will be with a NatCen researcher and will happen at a time and date convenient for participants in August 2021. The discussion will cover LTN scheme design and consultation, local responses to the LTNs, any positive and negative impacts and suggestions on how future implementation could be improved.

The interviews will help inform the next stage of our research, which will be deliberative workshops bringing together diverse perspectives within the local communities. Taking part in the interviews is completely voluntary, and individuals are free to change their mind at any time.
