We will interview LNK staff to understand how the programme was designed and has been implemented. We will also explore views about what has worked well during this process, as well as particular challenges that have been experienced.
Teachers and school leads
We will interview the SEND lead / other teaching staff who have been involved in organising the implementation of the LNK Educate programme and, conduct a focus group with teachers who have delivered the LNK lessons to classes in their respective school. During the interview / focus group we will explore their experiences of working with the intervention provider to implement the intervention in their school and their views on how LNK Educate has been delivered so far. We will also explore views about what has worked well during this process, as well as particular challenges that have been experienced.
Research activities with children will include:
- a group discussion about the LNK lessons or
- interview about the mentoring sessions.
Finally, we will speak to mentors delivering the 1:1 mentor sessions with individual children about their experiences of the programme delivery. We will also explore views about what has worked well during the delivery process, challenges that may have been experienced, and areas for improvement.
