Field Performance Manager, fixed-term contract

Location: home-based (with occasional travel to the Brentwood/London office and attendance at regional meetings or project briefings)

Salary: £28k - £32k (depending on skills and experience)

The role

We have multiple positions to join our growing team of Field Performance Managers on a 9-month fixed-term contract (with possible extension). This role is vital in helping lead a team of home-based survey interviewers, responsible for the collection of research data. It’s a fantastic opportunity to support the Regional Managers and the Data Collection division in delivering fieldwork to NatCen’s quality standards and targets through effective team leadership and field performance management.

The successful Field Performance Manager will be a team player with the ability to inspire others. They will lead and drive their interviewer team as well the delivery of response rates that meet or exceed those set, consistently across all projects and within prescribed timescales.

The candidate

We are looking for an experienced manager with proven leadership skills and a successful track record of exceeding targets and delivering against key performance indicators. Strong communication skills and an ability to interpret data and reports to help drive performance are also essential.
