Sashka is a Research Director in our Policy Research Centre’s Evaluation team. Sashka has extensive experience in designing and conducting complex evaluation studies, often in situations where there is no clear counterfactual or where data, time or resources are limited. Sashka’s research is quantitative in nature and sits at the intersection of experimental and quasi-experimental methodologies, and uses administrative and large-scale data sources.
Before joining NatCen, Sashka was working at RAND Europe where she was involved in over 7 experimental studies. She led evaluations of educational programmes focused on interventions looking to address the socio-economic gap in school attainment, using experimental and quasi-experimental research designs; and evaluations of interventions targeted at children in need or children in social care.
