Margaret Anderson is a mixed-methods Senior Researcher.
She employs her qualitative and quantitative research skills working on the large-scale Study of Early Education and Development (SEED), which includes a longitudinal survey of parents and a strand of case study research looking at good practice in early years settings. Research on welfare reform is another area of interest for Margaret, who was involved in research on Universal Credit, and is currently contributing to a study on Employment and Support Allowance.
Before joining NatCen she worked at IFF Research on projects involving large-scale web and telephone surveys as well as qualitative research techniques. Margaret holds an MSc in Social Research Methods from the University of Surrey, as well as an MA (Hons) in Sociology from the University of Edinburgh.
