Lauren has been a Researcher in the Health Policy Team since January 2016, after previously working in the team as an intern. She has a strong interest in qualitative research and since joining NatCen, has worked on a variety of projects.
Lauren is currently working on a project on the experiences that people with sensory impairments have of moving from Disability Living Allowance (DLA) to Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and another project informing Dame Carol Black’s review exploring how people with obesity and drug and alcohol issues can be better supported into sustainable employment. She has previously helped work on a report about suicide prevention in mid-life men and another report on the publics’ understanding of the food supply chain.
Lauren has a BA (Hons) in Sociology from the University of Sussex.
