Katariina Rantanen

Researcher

Crime, Justice & Attitudes

Katariina is a Researcher in the Crime, Justice and Communities team. She joined NatCen after completing a Master’s Degree in Comparative Social Policy at the University of Oxford, where she focused on the analysis of labour markets, poverty and social exclusion. She is trained in mixed methodologies.

Prior to NatCen, Katariina worked on a Finnish pilot project to improve the health of school children, funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. She has also worked for the Nordic think tank Demos Helsinki on a scenario-based study on city development.
