Hannah Piggott has recently joined NatCen as a Research Assistant. She will be assisting the Policy Research Centre on both quantitative and qualitative research projects.

Prior to working at NatCen Hannah worked as a research intern at Freedom from Torture. In this role she contributed to a number of research projects including Proving Torture, a report which analysed the treatment of torture survivors’ asylum cases by the UKBA; and a qualitative research project that considered how torture survivors understand rehabilitation.

During her masters degree Hannah worked for the Human Rights Clinic at the University of Essex where she researched policy approaches to Disaggregated Data, and access to adequate housing among Roma communities.

Hannah has a Masters in Human Rights from the University of Essex and B.A. in History from the University of Oxford.
