Hannah Delaney

Researcher

ScotCen

Hannah Delaney joined ScotCen in August 2016. She works on the Realigning Children’s Services (RCS) project which involves the delivery of a large scale web-survey in primary and secondary schools, exploring children’s wellbeing.

Before joining ScotCen Hannah completed a doctorate at the University of the West of England, Centre for Transport and Society. This involved a mixed methods project including surveys, interviews and video methods. The project examined the experiences and interactions of cyclists and pedestrians on shared-use paths.

Hannah’s work has been published in a number of academic journals.

Hannah previously worked as a Research Assistant at Sustrans’ Research and Monitoring Unit, where she conducted both quantitative and qualitative research.

She is experienced in designing, analysing and implementing focus groups and in-depth interviews. She has also worked on a number of large scale quantitative surveys; gaining experience in survey design, data management, analysis and reporting.
