Children, Families & Work

Frankie is a researcher working in the Children, Family and Work department at NatCen Social Research.

She is a mixed methods researcher and has experience in conducting research using in-depth interviews, focus groups, and developing and testing survey questions through cognitive interviews.

Frankie is working on a range of projects incorporating qualitative and quantitative methods, including the Survey of Early Education and Development (SEED).

Prior to joining NatCen, Frankie was a researcher at The Office for National Statistics working in the Data Collection Methodology department, where she carried out research projects to assess, optimise  and evaluate data collection procedures for ONS and other government departments. She worked on a range of social and business surveys and census, including the Labour Force Survey.

Frankie is a Social Science graduate from Cardiff University. During the final year of her degree she focused on exploring the interactions between young people, youth workers and policy makers involved in a Welsh policy initiative, the NEET Transition project.
